Details
Parrogate Ginneries, the Zambian food giant, was launching a ready-to-cook porridge. We were trusted to design the packaging for this new product.Â
​
Since this was a new category in Zambia, we needed to design something that would pop out of the shelf and say hello to a passing customer.Â
​
So, we decided to use a bright, warm yellow as our primary colour, and a hand-drawn illustration of a Zambian mother beating maize - a traditional practice in every home and a nostalgic feeling for every adult.
